this Sunday, 24 May, we'll kick off a day full of joy, movement and a great atmosphere at the FUN BILLA RUN relay event!
🔆 The weather is on our side! The forecast promises a beautiful sunny day with ideal running conditions – don't forget to smile for the photographers! 📸☀️
🎁 A raffle to finish! After the awards for the main disciplines, we'll draw several lucky winners who will take home great prizes from BILLA Slovakia! The draw will include all relay teams, so it's definitely worth staying until the end! 😊

Organisational information for the event:

➡️ Venue: Radosť Štrkovec play area, Štrkovecké jazero lake, Bratislava – Ružinov
➡️ Event programme – Sunday 24 May 2026:
• 08:00 – venue opens / registration on site
• 08:45 – children's warm-up
• 09:00 – changing rooms and bag storage open
• 09:00 – start of the children's relays 3 × 300 m
• 09:30 – start of the children's relays 3 × 600 m
• 10:00 – start of the Family relay 3 × 1 km
• 10:30 – start of the “family kilometre”
• awards for the children's and family relays
• 11:00 – start of the Ladies / Hobby relays 3 × 4 km
• awards for the Ladies and Hobby relays
• 14:00 – start of the Royal relay 3 × 6 km
• awards for the Royal relays
• 15:30 – raffle draw
• 16:00 – expected end of the event
➡️ Check-in (bib pick-up) and race pack collection:
• Saturday 23 May 2026, 14:00 – 18:00 – in front of the BILLA store, Bajkalská
• Sunday 24 May 2026, from 08:00 at the event venue by Štrkovecké jazero lake
➡️ Facilities at the event base:
• registration and race pack collection,
• bag storage,
• changing area,
• finish refreshments,
• BILLA zone and supporting activities,
• medical service.
➡️ How the disciplines work:
• Most disciplines are run as three-person relays.
• Team members are labelled A – B – C.
• Each member runs their part of the course according to the chosen discipline.
• In the 3 × 4 km and 3 × 6 km relays each member runs their whole leg – first member A, then member B and then member C.
➡️ Rules for the family kilometre:
• A team consists of 2 adults + 1 child.
• Members can join in any order.
• The first member starts from the beginning.
• The second member joins after about 300 m.
• The third member joins after about 700 m.
• All three cross the finish line together.
➡️ Refreshments at the finish: At the finish every runner will receive a finisher's medal, refreshments, Birell and the new Rajec 321.
➡️ Photos: Event photos are provided by the professional photo service GetPica. After the event, participants who agreed to photography when registering will receive a link to their personal photos at the email address given in the registration. Don't cover your bib with another layer of clothing so your photos can be matched to you. If you like the photos, you can buy them individually or as a discounted set.

The best way is to come on foot or by public transport – the nearest bus stops are Bajkalská, Drieňová and Nemocnica Ružinov. You can easily find connections at www.imhd.sk
You can park near Štrkovec. Parking in this area may be charged.
